Eating plants doesn’t have to be boring! Plant proteins can easily meet all your protein needs and be incorporated into meals in creative and delicious ways.

Here are a few tips about plant-based proteins:

  • Plant proteins are a powerhouse of good nutrition. Plant proteins are loaded with phytonutrients, fiber, and are naturally low in saturated fats and sodium — and yes, they can provide you with your daily protein needs!

  • Nourishing for you and the planet. Plant proteins are economical, environmentally friendly, and nourish your body.

  • Plants can pack protein. From seeds and roots to leaves and stems, plants can provide balanced and complete meals. Beans, peas, soy products, nuts, and seeds can easily meet all of your protein needs.

  • Small shifts add up. You don’t have to be vegan to reap the benefits of a plant-based diet — even small adjustments to your diet can make a difference.
  • Eat plants on your terms — but up the ante. Make one or two meals per week plant-based, dedicate a day to going meat-free, or choose to eat vegetarian.
